We believe sport can do more than make people fitter. It can change lives by building confidence, discipline, friendships and a sense of belonging. MAKEGROUND is being built around those things: creating quality merchandise, working with sporting communities and sharing the stories of people who keep showing up and making progress.
As MAKEGROUND grows, we want that growth to mean something. Our long-term aim is to reinvest part of what we build into the communities around us — supporting local youth initiatives and creating opportunities for people to come together, train, learn, compete, meet others and have fun.
We believe sometimes changing someone's direction starts with something simple: someone believing in them, giving them an opportunity and showing them another path. We want to use MAKEGROUND to help more people experience sport, community and competition — particularly those who might otherwise be held back by limited opportunities or financial barriers.
We're at the beginning, and we're not pretending we've achieved all of this yet. But starting small doesn't mean thinking small. We're eager to build relationships, work with good people and find practical ways to make a difference as MAKEGROUND grows.
